Loyalty Programs!?! We Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Loyalty Programs!!!

From my perspective, the second explanation is good common sense; however, the first statement is really questionable, even counterintuitive if a subordinating goal of loyalty behavior is to help drive customer-centricity.
