The Self-Service Authorisation tool allows you to directly request the authorisations that your S-User ID is missing, without having to search who your Super Administrators are, find their contact details and then send them an email requesting new authorisations.

This new feature is both efficient and super easy to use!

How to request an authorisation

You can do it in 3 simple steps:

Log in the SAP ONE Support Launchpad and go to your profile on the top-right corner and select “Authorisations and Functions”:

Then click on the blue button “Request Authorisation”

A new window will pop up asking you to select the Authorisation you want to request and a reason for this request.

And that’s it! A notification will be sent to the corresponding Super Admin to approve your request, and once it has been done, you’ll receive a Launchpad notification.

Sometimes you can go directly to the authorisation request if, for example, you cannot add a tile:

You can click on the same tile to request the authorisation that you need and the pop-up window will appear to request it directly. So it makes this process even quicker!

We hope you find this new feature useful! You can see more details about this process here: 2891528 - How to use the Self-Service Authorization Request
