Our Around the Globe series takes us to Haryana, India where we chat with Vinod Gupta, SVP of Quant Bidding Operations. Since joining Sago during the Market Cube acquisition in 2021, Vinod has brought his passion for data and a wealth of experience to our team. Q: What is it like to work with colleagues around the globe?

VG: Working with colleagues from around the globe always creates a great culture, allowing us to get to know each other both professionally and culturally. At Sago, diversity and inclusion have always been a priority. I have seen and experienced this firsthand with colleagues from every corner of the world. This sense of inclusivity makes Sago feel like a family rather than just a corporate entity. 

Q: What’s the one work item you can’t live without and why? 

VG: There are two and they are interrelated. First, I can’t live without data I love playing and working with it. Second is analysis. I think it has become the part of me which I use in every aspect of my life. 

Q: What does the future of MR look like to you?   

VG: I see a new era for MR that relies more on technology than traditional approaches. Artificial Intelligence, from basic API to ChatGPT, will certainly play a vital role in the MR sector in the future.
