Our Around the Globe series continues; this time, we travel to Boston, Massachusetts, to speak with Ash Wade. Ash has been a valuable revenue and sales leader at Sago since 2020 and currently serves as Executive Vice President, Revenue Operations, Sales. Read her thoughts on her purpose at Sago, the future of market research, and her favorite family ritual in the Q&A below.

Q: What do you consider to be your purpose at Sago?

Ash Wade: I LOVE this question. I think my primary purpose here is to lead revenue-focused transformation. Every day I have the opportunity to connect with a stellar team of gritty, adaptive, and curious peers across the Sago universe who aren’t afraid to ask audacious questions, take risks, and implement transformative solutions.

Q: What does the future of market research look like to you?

Ash Wade: In recent years, clients have been hyper-focused on figuring out how to grow faster. But in today’s economy, it’s no longer about growing faster; it’s about maximizing efficiency and the value of existing partnerships. We’re reaching an exciting inflection point where clients are more open to outsourcing and working with partners like Sago to mitigate tighter hiring budgets and creeping operating margins. I see this trend providing hyper-growth opportunities for the market research industry.

Q: Do you have a favorite family ritual you’re willing to share?

Ash Wade: Yes! My family loves to travel. For the last 5+ years, we’ve been fortunate to vacation together and rent a home in different tropical locations. It’s so much fun in the sun with tropical drinks and belly laughs. We always rent a boat, and there’s typically a theme for the day. Last year it was “Wadechella” (like Coachella) because we’re huge music fans and love to dance and have a good time!
