  2. The client is responsive. You find them approachable, available and you sense mutual respect. They always reply to your calls, your messages. While you are doing everything to make them feel valued they in return value your time and association.

  3. They are curious about your new initiatives and keen to participate in your initiatives. It almost feels like they are going out of their way to prove that they want to top your list of favorite customers!

  4. They are appreciative of your little things and those memories pop out naturally in their conversations. These appreciations come naturally and not with an intention to receive freebies.

  5. Even when reporting issues, they do it with an understanding and are open to listening to you. More than blaming you for the concern, they are keen to hear what caused the problem to occur and focus more on the solution.

  6. They never hold a grudge and follow your advice. In-fact they turn to you for answers voluntarily and you often hear them saying “They trust you or looking for your advice”.

  7. It is very common to keep one's professional face up at all times and rarely one sees a vulnerable side. If your client is comfortable being transparent with you about real issues and concerns, you know you have established a relationship where your customer is reflecting on the trust you have built with them

  8. You know your customer is your biggest fan when they invite you to events and love to have you as an integral part of their organization initiatives. They introduce you as a team rather than a vendor.

  9. Even in your difficult times, they choose to stick to you and quitting on you is not the option. You know your customers are fully invested in you if they stand by you patiently and empathize with you.

  10. They choose you over your competition even when they are offered a lower price on the same product/service. They are fine paying a premium to an extremely reliable and trustworthy relationship and you know you have a loyal customer who shares your values.
