Turn, Adapt, and Be Human: Tito's Vodka Shifts from Vodka to Hand Sanitizer

Today, I love this idea and this ability that organizations are finding a way to repurpose—almost on a dime. Tito’s Handmade Vodka, in fact, is making 24 tons of hand sanitizer instead of vodka.

Recognize What’s Important and Adapt

So here is the important thing about this, which is the ability to turn, to adapt, and to be human—all in one fell swoop. It is part of what I think will really indicate for us, as consumers, for the healthcare community, and for your employees the fact that you are really recognizing and understanding what’s important.

Understand Needs, Determine Priorities, and Shift

And here is my Daily Dose of Reality blended into this is: let’s make this the behavior for how we run our business as we move forward out of this situation. The agility that we are seeing from leaders and organizations to understand a need, to determine priorities, and to shift is really critical in driving through this wave of change in our life. And why not think about that as well as we understand our customers needs?

While we advise that you cannot use our vodka as a hand sanitizer, our distillery has been working hard to get all of the pieces in place to begin production on 24 tons of hand sanitizer that adheres to industry and governmental guidance.
