We’re thrilled to welcome Darcey Harrison as our new Chief Revenue Officer. Darcey joins UJET with a long and prestigious track record of success across both software and hardware technologies including Markforged, Cisco Meraki, and Bank of America.

At Meraki, Darcey played a critical role in growing the team and leading the company through the $1.2 billion dollar acquisition by Cisco. More recently, at Markforged, in just two years, Darcey was able to usher in growth of 5X, helping the company earn a spot on Deloitte’s Fast 500 two years in a row.

Darcey answered a few questions so our customers and the public can get to know the newest member of the UJET leadership team.

Tell us a bit about yourself?

I’m originally from the West Coast and just moved back after spending the last few years in Boston. I love to travel, some of my favorite places I’ve been are India and Japan internationally, and Chicago and Seattle in the U.S.

I like to consider myself a big foodie. Immersing myself in local cuisines and cultures and enjoying everything from street food vendors up to fine dining establishments.

What excites you about this opportunity at UJET?

UJET has a tremendous opportunity to reinvent an industry that impacts everyone. Customer support. We’ve all felt the frustrations of customer support, but never really thought about what it could be.

And while other industries have leveraged software, emerging technologies, and digitally-focused business strategies, traditional customer support solutions have remained frustratingly stagnant.

The company is not only focused on creating innovative ways for businesses to connect with customers and resolve issues faster, but also aims to increase customer support’s impact, value, and potential across the entire enterprise.

What are you hoping to achieve in 2020?

Since its early days, UJET has seen consistent year-over-year growth. My hope is to not only maintain that, but accelerate it. Our 2020 product roadmap is exciting and I cannot wait to begin sharing some of these new and amazing features with everyone.

I am also hoping to continue to grow our sales organization, bring amazing and talented people into the UJET family, and set up my team for both current and future success.

I am a strong believer in ensuring my team can flourish in their roles today as well as giving them the freedom and flexibility to learn and grow, both personally and professionally.

How would you best describe the culture at UJET?

UJET’s culture was a big part of my decision to join the company. I’ve been fortunate to work at places throughout my career that have great and truly unique cultures, and UJET is no different. The team has high standards for themselves and one another, and always treats each other with respect.

It’s collaborative not just within each team, but company-wide. We all understand the opportunity in front of us to truly revolutionize customer support, and that by working together, we can accomplish our goals.

What excites you the most (Other than being a part of UJET of course) about moving back to the San Francisco Bay Area?

The weather! I love being outdoors and am looking forward to being able to do outdoor activities year-round. Also not having to shovel snow or wait for my car to warm up is a big plus.
