"We do what we do, and we do it together!"

Take time to recognize those who are helping others in their time of need.  The best CX of all!

I’ve been inspired by this phrase ever since I heard Bradley Cooper say it in the movie, Burnt.  It’s especially inspiring today as we see Americans across our great country stepping up to help those in need as a result of the coronavirus.

·       First responders and health care professionals caring for those in need, corporations collaborating instead of competing and federal, state and local officials who are responding without regard to politics.

·       Or a neighbor who offered help to the elderly who may not be able to leave their house.

·       A smiling face at our HEB grocery store from a cashier working around the clock and serving hundreds of customers with overflowing carts.

·       The University of Minnesota technical teams working around the clock to help instructors take their courses virtual.

·       And across the world, an opera singer entertaining quarantined Italians.

The list goes on and on.  During this time, I’ve hesitated to blog about customer experience strategies or to talk about what is or is not happening within organizations handling this crisis.  Now and for the foreseeable future is a time for us to come together, support one another and seek out new ways to provide experiences for our customers and employees.  We’re learning together how to adjust our lives and lifestyles on a moment’s notice and prepare for what some call ‘the new normal’.

So, my intent with this blog is simple.  To recognize and thank the thousands of professionals across the globe who are doing their best to help us through this crisis.   After all, we do what we do, and we do it together!
